REVIEW: TALIKA HEATED EYELASH CURLER

I am quite excited to write this blog as I am SOOO happy with the results I’ve got from this wonderful little contraption.

As you may know I’ve been harping on about getting the Talika heated eyelash curlers for AGES…this being after my Revlon heated curlers met their doom in a Mulberry Roxanne bag full of orange juice (you really just don’t want to know!)

SO yes! I ordered one last week and they arrived a few days ago and I have been using them ever since.

First impressions I will admit I thought “this thing is soo cheap and tacky”, and I stand by that. For £20 you expect something to be a little more sturdy as oppose to the lightweight feel you get from this. The silver shine factor just isn’t doing it any favours either.

BUT! it’s not all down hill from there.

Oh no, onwards and upwards *points skyward*

To get the curlers going you flick the switch and then wait for the rubbery curling bit to go from red to white. This takes about 30 secs and then you’re ready to curl.

I found them to be really easy to use. Sometimes with curlers the ledge is quite big, or horribly flat, but the Talika curlers give my lashes a really nice curl.

I use them before and after applying mascara purely because I have once again invested in another dud (more about that another time).

The curl lasts all day and my lashes look lovely!
Am so so happy about this product.
If you suffer from super straight, classic oriental lashes then this is the beauty tool for you!

Lastly, I’ve been getting quite a few comments about how long my lashes are lately. WOOO! I’ve deliberately postponed writing a follow up to my Enormous Lash entry as I wanted to give the product enough time to work. Will be writing a full review very soon!
