FESTIVE NAILS: NAIL ROCK REVIEW

I’m not really a salon girl. I rarely get any nail treatments done, favouring the DIY versions any day. So when I was sent the Nails Rock wraps recently I couldn’t wait to try them out!

Nail Rock is like the home version of Nail Minx. They look like stickers for your nails or toenails and come in a sheet of 20.

I found them pretty easy to apply but you have to make sure that you buff your nails before applying the stickers otherwise you will find that they lift around the corners. This is super important!
Once you’ve done that, start with one nail at a time and find the correct sticker size. I found that a lot of the stickers were slightly too large for me so I had to trim them which was a bit fiddly.
Next peel the sticker off being careful not to touch the sticky side, and blast with a hairdrier on medium heat for a few seconds till it softens. Then press firmly onto the nail bed and blast it a bit more to seal it in place.
Lastly, file the excess off.
I got sent three designs and I was really looking forward to using the chrome gold but after initial application I couldn’t decide if I liked it or not:
However, I liked the leopard print look and went with this for my party nails :)

Nail Rock is great for a party look for a night out, they don’t really last much longer than two days, but once you get the hang of applying them you can do it quite quickly and they peel off easily when you’re done :)

Nail Rock is available from Topshop and from their official website:www.nailrock.com

Have you tried these? Which ones are your favourite?
