LIZ EARLE SHEER SKIN TINT

Liz Earle has been a brand I’ve been using for well over 10 years now. Her range of products has always been synonymous with good natural skincare, creating products that are a pleasure to use and really make a difference to the look and appearance of your skin. Cleanse & Polish anyone?

With so many loyal fans, and many asking for make up, it was only a matter of time before Liz Earle ventured into colour cosmetics.

The Sheer Skin Tint is the brand’s first step into colour.
The formulation leans more towards a light tinted moisturiser, evening out skin tone whilst still allowing your natural features to show through. If you are more of a full coverage kind of lass, then this product is perhaps not something you will especially like. However, for those who like their foundations to enhance the skin as oppose to covering it all up, then it’s definitely one you may well LOVE.

Me? I love these kind of foundations. I do have quite a bit of hyper pigmentation, and this product isn’t going to help disguise it, but it makes my skin look healthy and radiant!

I did find that it felt ever so slightly sticky on my skin, to the point where powder blushers are a no go, but I have had so many compliments on my skin when I’ve been using this.

The only thing that I found disappointing was the small choice of shades. Bare 01 for fair skin tones, Beige 02 for medium skin tones and Beach 03 for medium to dark skin tones. I sit at the beige 02 mark. It’s not an ideal match but with the formula so sheer it isn’t much of an issue with me. Those with darker skintones will unfortunately struggle to find a suitable match.

The Sheet Skin Tint is very much a natural finish and am sure there are those who may associate the dewy look to an oily look, but a little goes a long way with this product. A dewy, natural finish is easily achieved in very little time. I just apply it with my fingers and smooth it in like moisturiser. Easy!

The Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint is available from the 8th September. Click here to visit the Liz Earle website for more info.
