LUSH CHRISTMAS 2011!

My first Christmas post for the year and what better way to kick it off than with an introduction to the fantastic new products from Lush!
Christmas just isn’t the same without several trips to a Lush store, & the limited edition seasonal products see a fond hello to the Xmas regulars (why HELLO! Snow cake & HELLO! Glogg!), but also sees the eager anticipation to brand new products too..super exciting.
So without further ado, let me introduce you the new kids on the block:

Bubble Bars

Magic Wand £4.95
I can see this one being incredibly popular, not just because it smells like the best selling Snow Fairy soap…but also because it’s shaped like a wand which you swish in running water for candyfloss and pear drop scented bubbles! Lush say you can get several bubble baths from one wand and I love how it’s adorned with a bell for extra magical effects!

SuperStar £2.25

Strawberry scented bubble bar with some angelica root to help combat stress and aid relaxation!

Three Gold Rings bubble bar £3.75

Vanilla lovers will adore this one! Good for two baths, this bubble bar contains myrrh resin, sweet orange oil and vanilla absolute which is the same fragrance as the Crème Anglaise body lotion. Sounds soo good!

CANDY MOUNTAIN £2.35

There are a lot of candy scented products this year and this one is no exception! Love the pink and white swirls it’s a sweet treat that’s guilt free!

BALLISTICS

ABOMBINABALL £2.95

I love the two layered ballistics Lush have introduced as they combine a fizzy ballistic with a foaming bath melt bubble bar centre…
This one is peppermint and sweet orange scented, with a hint of vanilla for an alpine fresh bath.

The Rocketeer bath ballistic £2.75

Another ballistic I can’t wait to try…it’s packed with popping candy for sound effects galore! Shaped like a jetpack and scented like candysticks, this one is perfect for boys. In fact, I’m going to get this one for the bf. He is starting to get quite hooked (and spoilt I might add!) to Lush ballistics…

Golden Wonder £3.25

I love the description of this ballistic, especially the bit about a “surprise” inside! Unfortunately I can’t tell you what the surprise is as I’ve yet to try one, but rest assure I’ll be doing a detailed post about this one. Am super intrigued!
Filled with golden stars and scented like a light fizzing champagne cocktail, and contains sweet orange oil, cognac oil and lime oil, this one is definitely on my wish list!

BATH MELTS

The Melting Snowman £2.50

How cute and yet sad at the same time! This poor little melting snowman smells of marzipan, Christmas cake and figgy pudding all rolled into one. Suddenly I am tempted to throw one in the bath…if you haven’t tried a Lush bath melt you don’t know what you are missing. I can only describe it like a melting marshmallow…slowly melting and foaming around the bath…pure indulgence…mmmm!

SHOWER JELLY

The Jilted Elf £3.95

Am not too much of a fan for the shower jellies as I find them a bit fiddly to use…all that squishing and attempts to wash with it…great for kids! BUT this one is boozy and based on a cocktail recipe, with vodka, honey and fig infusion to soften the skin. It’s got me curious…so I shall ponder trying this one

SUGAR SCRUB

Australian Igloo £2.75

Not sure if I quite get the name…but it contains Australian Sandalwood oil and Siberian Pine oil…Hmmm. Am confused. *scratches head* Still…I like these sugar scrubs as they mean business!

SOAP

CANDY CANE £2.75 100g

Yep…you guessed it! This one smells of sweets and mint…with the red and white stripes to give it that signature candy cane looks and feel.

LIP PRODUCTS

POW WOW LIP SCRUB £4.75

Christmas = mistletoe and mistletoe means KISSING! Pucker up and get your lips ready with this popping candy, argan oil infused lip scrub. LOVE!

CELEBRATE LIP TINT £4.75

For a pretty pastel pink pout that tastes of pink champagne! Delicately tint lips a subtle pink whilst ensuring they are well moisturised with almond, jojoba and camellia oils.
