SWATCH SUNDAY: Avon “Ravishing Red” Ultra Colour rich lipstick

It’s Swatch Sunday and tonight’s swatch is one of Avon’s Ultra Colour Rich Colordisiac Lipsticks.

The last time I bought or tried an Avon lipstick was way back in my Uni days. My ex boyfriend’s Aunt was an Avon lady so I’d occasionally order a few products though her.

I was reintroduced to the brand at one of their events last year. Whilst the products from the launch didn’t really grab me (I found the eyeshadows too chalky with average colour payoff), I was also given the opportunity to try a lipstick and this is the one I chose:

It’s a lovely berry pink with a satin finish to the lips:

The lipstick is currently retailing at £3.50 on Avon’s website which I think is fantastic value for money given that the colour is fab and the formulation doesn’t leave your lips feeling dry.
