The weather has turned here in London, with Winter making another appearance! With talk of snow round the corner I thought I’d post my last set of photos from Melbourne…took me frikking ages I know!
Oh and *warning*…for those of you that are arachnophobic like me…the last photo is of a spider…I made it smaller than the rest so it wouldn’t look quite so gross *shudders*

So that’s finally it for my Melbourne diary! One of the highlights of my trip had to be catching fish of Lorne Pier. It was the first time I had gone fishing and I caught two salmon! Cast my line out and everything…was a very proud day for me.
I don’t know where I’ve put my fish photos but will update this post and pop them in when I can dig them out!
As for spiders…one of my main fears before heading to Oz was spotting some of the native wildlife about…namely the black widow, white back and the dreaded and largest of all…the Huntsman spider.
I was told they were a very rare sight and what happens? I see not one but FOUR. The first was sitting right on the front door, just by the handle and JUST as I was about to reach for it. This is the one pictured in the last photo *pic courtesy of my bf* We also had one enter the house and it took 3 guys to catch the horrible thing *shudders some more*
I’ve heard absolute horror stories of these spiders popping out in the car whilst people are driving…thankfully this didn’t happen to us…
