NOTD: topshop “Milkshake”

Let me start off this post with a quick confession…I failed at this year’s Valentines NOTD. Quite miserably at that! I had full intentions of creating “Love/Hate” knuckle tattoo style nails…then I wanted to try out my 3D nail art pen…that sucked.

But all is not lost! Today’s Nail of the Day is the base coat I used for these designs..topshop’s “Milkshake”.

I often find pastel shades need three coats, especially pink ones like this. Am pleased to say this was just two coats which applied streak free too…yay!

That being said, I can’t seem to embrace pastels this Spring…it’s all a bit repetitive no? Give me the neons and I shall smother them whole heartedly *nods*
