You may have noticed that I don’t often review lipglosses. This is pretty much down to the fact that I can’t seem to get on with them.
Maybe it’s because they have a tendency to glue my lips together, or because it’s bothersome when you’ve got long hair (again, sticky!), or perhaps it’s just cause I don’t much like shiny lips….either way…I am a lipstick lover at heart *nods solemnly*
BUT…I think I may have found a lipgloss that I like…heck I might even throw the word “love” in there (and that’s a BIG statement for me!).
Tonight’s swatch is “Honeymoon Kiss” which is part of the By Terry’s Terrybly collection.
It’s a pretty pale peachy pink shade with golden pearl undertones. Very feminine and perfect for day time wear.

Swatch on the back of my hand to show you the gold hues:
Taken from By Terry’s website:
GLOSS TERRYBLY SHINE is the first anti-aging, firming and volumizing gloss, enriched with the exclusive Lumilip® Technology, to rejuvenate and sculpt the lips in ultra-shiny colors.
BY TERRY exclusive Lumilip® Technology:
For a “Push-Up Effect”: Kiss Me Quick Extract regenerates, nourishes, hydrates, creates volume and redefines lip contours.
For a “Hydra-Lift Effect”: Hyaluronic acid microspheres plumps, fills the hollows, smoothes volumes, lifts the mouth.
For a “Lift-Firming Effect”: Ceramids restructure, firm, redensify, maintain lips’ hydration.
Now I’m not too sure about whether it made my lips more firm or stopped them aging, but it most definitely hydrates, and it does a fantastic job of it too.
Admittedly, when I first used this product, I skimmed the marketing text on the box ever so lightly, so didn’t expect much when I was wearing it. It was only after an hour of wear that I noticed my lips were much smoother and less dry. In fact, this has currently been my go-to lip treatment when I have dry, flaky lips. The ingredients inside works absolute wonders at tackling dry lips & super fast too. I am very much taken with this non-sticky formulation and love the fact that it goes that much further than being simply a gloss with a bit of colour in it.
Am very impressed & the rose scent & taste add to it’s appeal for me too…

I’ve been eyeing up By Terry glosses for a while but haven’t yet taken the plunge and bought one. This one looks lovely- shimmery but subtle and the scent and moisturing properties appeal to me too.
I never thought a lipgloss could be so beneficial to my lips but I am really impressed with the By Terry glosses. Wore it to bed last night (whilst writing this blog post!) ad my lips felt super smooth the following day. Some fab ingredients in this one! x
Gorgeous colors
great blog
thanks so much!
Like you, I avoid glosses because I don’t like their characteristic gluey and sticky finish. Is this gloss sticky? Or, do the moisturizing properties outweigh the stickiness?
DEFINITELY. It’s not really a sticky gloss & I haven’t come across a lipgloss that makes such a difference to my lips. Highly recommended.x
