The daily holiday essentials!
With temperatures averaging 35 daily, a strong spf was a holiday MUST! It gets so gloriously hot in Greece!
Avene’s High Protection Sun Emulsion with spf 50+ was my go to face moisturiser. I always ensure I use an spf on my face even when I am back home in the UK, but on holiday a higher spectrum is essential for my sensitive skin. I often find higher spf formulations are very thick in consistency but the Avene one sinks in with ease, giving a matte finish.

This is the best stain I have ever tried….love that you can build up the colour & it lasts for hours making it perfect for a fuss free look at the beach.
Superdrug Solait Light Texture Moisturising Lotion Spray Spf15*
I was given this at a Superdrug Summer event & LOVE IT. If you’re the kind of person who finds applying sun cream a chore, this is definitely one for you. Light & super easy to apply, it comes out in a spray which can be applied from all angles (makes spraying your own back easy!). Both the bf & I agreed that this was by far the best sun protection we had. Just wish I had tried it before the holiday as this one is spf15 & I like a minimum of 30!

Love everything about this lip balm, from the delicate rose scent to the bonus spf15. The glass pot isn’t the best for the beach but it moisturisers so well!
Superdrug Light Texture Moisturising Spray spf50
The one I did buy! Spf50 & so glad we got it high as the bf got a bit sunburnt during a short quad bike trip in Santorini. This one saved his skin & kept mine from burning too!
Acqua d’Alfresco Insect Repellant*
I was given this at event a while ago but haven’t needed to use it till this holiday! Packed it on a last minute whim & so glad I did as Athens & Kalhidiki had mosquitoes that absolutely loved me for lunch & dinner! This smells more like a perfume than your usual deet repellers. It’s made with natural ingredients that won’t strip & dry your skin all the while making sure those pesky bugs don’t get a bite in.
