Introducing B. exclusively at Superdrug

Last week I popped along to my first bloggers event of 2013!
B. is the new skincare & colour cosmetics range developed exclusively for Superdrug. Designed to offer premium quality products at an affordable price, the formulations in the range have been independently tested to give consumers confidence that the products really work & work incredibly well!
B. have done extensive market research whilst developing this new range, & one of the issues that came up amongst the many women questioned was that often when looking to purchase new skincare, the buyer felt overwhelmed at the choices available. Think this is something we can all relate to & I loved the quick questionnaire B. have created to help customers identify which products are suitable for their skin type:

Once you’ve answered the questionnaire you can then see which “Skin Phase” you belong to, in my case it was 1.

Products in phase 1 include moisturising cream, serum & eye cream with the total price of all the products coming in at under £50 for your whole skincare regime.

The B. skincare range also includes a hot cloth cleanser, facial wipes & Micellar Water. Was really excited to see this & I’ve been using it daily since the event so watch this space for the review!

The cosmetics range features products for the eyes,lips, face & nails with the absolute stand out product in the range for me being the gel eyeliner. I’m really fussy when it comes to eyeliner & I’ve never found a budget gel eyeliner that I like. They are always so poor in pigment payoff, applying terribly & not very long lasting. I loved the B. gel eyeliner. Admittedly I’ve yet to try it on, but the application upon swatching was silky smooth & intensely dark. Available in black & brown, check out the swatches below (far right)!

I found the eyeshadows relatively average in colour payoff (swatches below), with the colour range on the natural side but I really loved the kohl eyeliners which were butter smooth (blue swatch above).

The foundations come in four different textures, illuminating, hydrating, complete coverage & anti-aging. I found the shades to be a bit too much on the light side but hopefully they will add more darker shades in the near future as the textures are lovely!
