Bath salts…my new MUST HAVE

kneipp

When these giant pots of goodness arrived through the post I could literally SMELL them through the parcel box & they smell SOOOO GOOD. A quick pass round the office had many of us giddy from the Deep Sleep salts…

Before I even start this review I’m going to say straight up that you need them. They have been an absolute treat to indulge in & one of the best things about them is that they are in fact a very affordable treat at £7.99 a tub (one tube should last 8 baths).

You may remember reading my review of the Kneipp bath oils one of my best friends suggested I try. The Deep Sleep bath oil was my favourite from the set I bought & the thermal bath salts are just as amazing.
Upon opening the tub you are instantly hit with a wonderful soothing scent that is quite heady with a bit of a citrus kick to it. My word it smells SO good. Half a cap is enough to turn your bath a pretty blue hue & a soak in this mineral bath is so potent that no matter what stresses you have from the day (believe me I have a FAIR amount of emotional turmoil at the moment) it will ease your mind & bring instant calm. I love this product immensely.

Last night I tried out the Joint & Mineral Bath Salts straight after a yoga class. I do hot yoga flow twice a week & if you follow me on Twitter you will know I am often tweeting of aching muscles post class.
This orange wonder pot contains Arnica which is fantastic for soothing aching muscle tension. This coupled with a steaming hot bath is heaven & today I woke up feeling great. Usually the following day after a yoga class my body whimpers a bit but today was a good day. A great product for active folk & anyone with aches & pain. Amazing stuff!

Unfortunately not got round to trying the Cold & Flu one…mostly because I erm..don’t have a cold or a flu thankfully. Saying that though, one sniff of this tub & it’s enough to clear your sinuses right out. Very strong eucalyptus scent with this one…so strong in fact my work colleague was wondering if it would burn you…am sure it won’t but it gives you an indication of just how strong the scent is with this one no?

For those that live in London, Zest Pharmacy on Broadwick St stock them as well as the Covent Garden Pharmacy both great little stores for finding some lovely skincare brands like Kneipps, Nuxe & Caudalie to name a few.
