Salt Spray…not so surf chick :(

In my attempt to stick to my 2013 hair resolution I’ve been dabbling about with ‘hair styling’. Perhaps ‘attempting’ is the more appropriate word, namely because in general I don’t really like the feeling of product in my hair…
That being said, I’ve always liked the look salt spray gives…that beachy, mussy surf chick stylee…I like messy hair & the following is what happened when I took my Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray & hair dryer to my tresses:

Salt Spray definitely makes fine wispy hair like mine appear more voluminous, but it does seem to have it’s downfalls. Maybe I fluffed it up too much but it looks more ‘electric shock’ than ‘surf chick’ & I’m really not liking the matte dull finish not to mention I am not overly a big fan of salt in my hair in the first place!

Ho hum…maybe I should have gone for ‘river chick’ instead?

Still…am glad I’m giving it a go & trying something new
