The Blitz Party!

This is the outfit I wore on Saturday! It was one of my friend’s birthdays & to celebrate a group of us headed to the Blitz Party in London’s east end.
With a wartime 1940s theme, we donned our pin curls & vintage frocks & danced our seamed stockings off!
The outfits were amazing, lots of men in uniform & girls in polka dots & the venue was decked out to resemble a large air raid shelter:

With the exception of a false beauty mark, I didn’t really do anything too different to my usual day to day makeup, but the hair was another thing!

Tried my best to curl my hair into vintage curls but ultimately sucked at applying my hot rollers *sigh*. May have to enlist my mum to help teach me!
Instead I ended up doing a simple back roll, gave myself a side parting & hid my fringe with a lot of hairspray! Not sure the look is very 1940s…ooops.
