If you liked my Facebook page you’d have seen a sneak peek at these dresses already…but here are my first Spring wardrobe buys in all their 1950s glory!
I love a good vintage buy, especially dresses, so these were an absolute score 
Both the green floral dress & the striped one are handmade from the 1950s & I love the cut & shape of them.
The brown sun dress, whilst pretty plain in appearance fits wonderfully & I can’t wait to pair it up with a bright cheerful belt & a nice poofy petticoat to really bring out that 1950s full circle!
The floral dress however, was scattered with sequins here & there that I felt didn’t do the dress any justice & were probably added at a later date. Needless to say I spent a good Friday night painstakingly picking them all out…see:
Can’t wait for the weather to get warmer so I can start wearing them. I feel like Winter has been here for far too long this time round!

Just goes to show how well things were made in the old days…they last and last…wait a decade or more/less they are fashionable again.
