A few weeks ago I picked up a handful of nail polishes from H&M’s sister store “& Other Stories”.
The range of colours available are beautiful in a wonderfully unusual & muted way…lots of murky blues & greens coupled with unique shades like “Barege Mustard”. Makes a change from your usual classic range!
Love the simplistic packaging of this range but as you can see from the bottles above…the label each bottle is wrapped in leaves a sticky residue. I tried to rub it off but the ink on the bottle started to smear (see green polish above).
I opted for “Boucle Greige” for my first Nail of the Day & the colour is such a lovely shade. Lovely creamy warm grey:
The above shot shows two coats…definitely think you need three coats to give full coverage (should have done this!).
I’d love to say that the application was smooth & hassle free but I found the application streaky & the formulation on the thin side across all the three shades I bought. For £5 a pop I had kind of hoped to have got better results (think topshop polishes are much better quality).
Have you tried & Other Stories polishes? What did you think of them? Leave a comment & let me know!
