OOTD: 1940s powder blue

I absolutely love this powder blue 1940s beaded wool cardigan! It actually is part of a set which I picked up when I was in San Francisco last year & I love how super soft the wool is. So snug & warm too!

I had high hopes of finding lots of vintage clothing when I visited the Haight & Ashbury district of SF & indeed there are plenty of stores to browse through. They are just so frikking expensive!
I got the set for $45 which was a score given how I saw a similar cardigan for $85 a few doors down from where I purchased this & just for the top too ;)

I don’t often buy beaded clothing as I often find that the beads almost always come loose.  However, this top is in fabulous condition with all the bead work still secure & in place so I am thrilled to add this to my full to bursting wardrobe!
